Yes. Being licensed as an adult care facility means that our entire operation is highly regulated by the Department of Health.
We are assisted living which is a higher level of licensure by the department of health, requiring more care hours for our residents.
We have provided quality personalized care since 1974!

Food & Visitation
Residents receive three meals each day, plus snacks are available. Our chef, who is certified in food safety by the American National Standard Institute, works in conjunction with a certified dietitian to develop a varies selection of healthy menu items to suit the many tastes of our residents. Residents choose from a selection of foods to ensure that each dining experience is a pleasurable one.
Yes, you may have a refrigerator in your room, up to 3.3 cubic feet.
Yes, we encourage family and friends to visit. In fact, we offer a private dining room where a meal can be enjoyed alone with family.

Yes, we have free Wifi
Hilton East does not provide any phone service. Resident can setup service with Frontier or with a cell service.
Yes, our housekeeping crew makes sure that rooms are cleaned daily and linens are washed on a weekly basis and as needed.
Yes, we provide a nurse on staff 16 hours per day.
We provide space for a geriatrics specialist to examine patients here on the premises, which provides a convenience for patients, especially during the colder months. We contract with a large geriatric practice who are on-site twice per week. Residents have the option to switch MD’s or keep their current MD.
We have nurses that will check their medications to ensure that they are receiving the correct medications, in the correct doses at the correct times. We will also handle the reordering of medications. Hilton East deals with Health Direct pharmacy, who delivers medications directly to the facility. Residents have the option to switch to Health Direct pharmacy or keep their current pharmacy.
Yes, there is a minimal monthly fee.
Yes, our Resident Care Coordinator and Case Manager work with the family throughout the entire process.
We can provide extra services to accommodate seniors rising health needs.
Activities & Transportation
Our recreation department focuses on the whole person. Governed by a seven-point guideline, we have activities that provide for the physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational, and environmental aspects of living.
We have the perfect location in the peaceful community of Hilton. With Salmon Creek, spacious grounds and beautiful landscaping serving as our backdrop. We are within walking distance of two mini plazas, several eateries, small shops, the library, banks, post office and more. Hilton is only a short drive from Greece and other attractions. Our lovely landscaped courtyard is also a great place to sit back and relax on those beautiful spring mornings.

Yes, our recreation department takes trips to Red Wings games, parks, shopping, and other local attractions.
